We have a short time in which to make our views known to East Sussex County Council and to take part in the next consultation by the Airports Commission. The information and leaflets below have been prepared by GACC who suggest that, if you wish to help preserve the character of this part of England, you need to take immediate action:
Before mid-January do all you can to persuade East Sussex County Council to vote against a second runway at Gatwick – see leaflet below for details.
Before 3 February respond to the consultation by the Airports Commission, and persuade as many as possible of your relatives, friends and neighbours also to respond.
Transition Wadhurst are setting up a special interest group for those with a particular concern about this. If you’re interested in joining or would be prepared to display a poster against a second runway, please email us here: firstname.lastname@example.org
Gatwick Area Conservation Campaign (GACC) have prepared the documents which can be downloaded here including facts about the proposed second runway, advice on how to respond to the consultation and a poster which you can print.
